SIGCSE Virtual 2026
Thu 12 - Sun 15 November 2026

SIGCSE Virtual employs a reciprocal reviewing policy. Any submission to SIGCSE Virtual is expected must have a designated author who will review for the conference. Exceptions are made for the Spotlight Talks and Doctoral Consortium tracks and for papers in which no authors have previously had a paper accepted to one of the SIGCSE conferences (SIGCSE Technical Symposium, ITiCSE, ICER, RESPECT, CompEd, and SIGCSE Virtual).

Those who are listed as authors on multiple submissions are strongly encouraged to volunteer to serve as reviewers, even if other authors on those submissions are serving as the designated reviewer.

Authors in the paper and poster tracks can review for their tracks. Authors in the other tracks cannot review in their tracks, but can review elsewhere.

To serve as a reviewer, please fill out the reviewer interest form at bit.ly/sv26-volunteer . If you are not sure whether or not you’ve filled out the form, you may contact us at program@virtual2026.sigcse.org.

We expect authors who act as reviewers by giving timely and high-quality feedback. To ensure this, reviewers who show serious negligence may face desk rejection for their papers during the meta-review stage. APCs will flag missing, poor-quality, or AI-generated reviews, and reviewers will be notified and given a chance to fix these issues. If major problems continue and are confirmed by the program chairs, the reviewer’s own submissions could then be desk rejected.
